Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Jersey City since 1946, JC Eyes has been Jersey City’s premier one-stop vision practice for over 75 years. We proudly provide Jersey City with full-scope optometric care driven by advanced technologies in healthcare and an in-house optical shop featuring our own lens-cutting lab.

Comprehensive Eye Exams

Routine eye exams are a vital aspect of preventive eye care. Without routine eye exams, vision issues often go undetected since most eye disorders don't have clear symptoms.

Dry Eye Management

While dry eye isn’t a serious condition, it can have a major impact on your quality of life. You may find your eyes get tired faster or you have difficulty reading. Not to mention the discomfort of a burning sensation or blurry vision. 

Pediatric Eye Exams

According to the American Optometric Association (AOA), all children should have their eyes examined at the age of 6 months, 3 years and then annually at the start of school.

Computer Vision Syndrome

For many of us, “screen time” is the majority of the time. Electronic devices with screens include smart phones, computers and televisions.

Specialty Contact Lens

Some patients have corneal abnormalities, which means that conventional lenses won’t sit comfortably on the surface of their eyes, while others suffer from eye conditions in which regular soft contact lenses do not provide the best vision.

Everyone is really kind, the nurses, and doctor are amazing. They take their time to give you the right treatment, it’s just surprising the quality of the work and service. I brought with me my 8 weeks baby dog and I thought I was not going to be able to have him but they were all in love with my baby and they were so happy with him. I was able to talk with almost everyone, I don’t have words to express how understanding they are and they go beyond the word kindness! Also adding the beautiful glasses they have, they give you time to try them, you can feel comfortable, and they treat you like family. Thank you so much!!!

I’ve been going here since the 7th grade. I will be 53 tomorrow! I was impressed when my doggie daycare wouldn’t be opened and they allowed me to bring my toy poodle in and get my exam and pick out my glasses as if she wasn’t even with me! Staff greeted her as if she was just another customer! You can’t get know better than that! Sasha thanks you all for welcoming her! I am beyond impressed and grateful for you accepting my for baby in the doors!

10/10 would recommend Dr. Patel to anyone looking for an eye doctor. She was wonderful- she's smart, warm, and can tell she really cares about her patients. I was nervous about getting contacts for the first time but she made the entire experience enjoyable. I then went to Jaime who did an amazing job training me on getting my contacts in and out (which was no easy task!). She was so kind and even put a contact in herself to show me how to properly do it. I can't say enough good things about this practice and the staff. 10/10.

Went in today for a medical issue and saw Dr. Patel. She was AMAZING to say the least! Dr. Patel was very thorough and educated me on what my problem was and the severity of it. Definitely changing Eye Doctors! Front Desk was also very welcoming and friendly Sandra answered all my questions when it came to my insurance; something we all tend to have issues with. Over all I am super satisfied and will HIGHLY recommend Dr. Patel!!!

Always have a great visit. Very pleased to have Dr. Van Landegem attend to me 2yrs in a row. She is always nice and very thorough. Got to see the interior of my eyes with the new device that took photos. Everything looks great according to Dr. Liselotte. Staff is always helpful. My boyfriend and I both had appointments together and the eye doctor and front desk ladies were helpful and nice. Amazing assistance with picking out glasses. They were patient and transparent with prices. Great frame choices.

Every time I go to the optometrist she is very likable very caring and also very patient. She explains everything to me with no problem. Also follow up with whatever we discussed about other doctors that I do see in reference to my care so that we can all stay one board. She also advises me when I need to come back for whatever testing that needs to be done and I follow through with what she needs me to do. I really appreciate her time and effort that she does do for me. I’ve been a patient of this Dr. Savoy‘s in Siegel‘s office for mini mini years. Thank you.

Dr V was helpful in ensuring the contact samples she ordered fit well on my eyes and were comfortable. She took her time to make sure I was able to adjust to them and the best prescription that suited my vision before ending the appointment. I would deduct a star for wait time but decided not to.
